The Connecticut Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology

We are an interdisciplinary organization of  mental health professionals from Connecticut and neighboring states interested in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy*. Members include psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, other mental health professionals, graduate students, and non-clinical scholars. Any interested mental health professional is welcome to join us; no prior psychoanalytic training or experience is necessary. CSPP is the Connecticut chapter of

the American Psychological Association's Division 39 (Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology).

The mission of the Connecticut Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology is to promote and enhance the understanding and application of psychoanalytic thinking and practice. To this end, we provide educational opportunities, networking, and collegial support to our members and to other interested professionals.
